Our Mission

The dedicated members of Livonia EMS strive to provide excellent pre-hospital emergency medical care, patient advocation, community involvement, and opportunities for continuing education.

About Us

Livonia emergency medical services (EMS) provides pre-hospital emergency care to the towns of Livonia and Conesus, as well as surrounding townships through mutual aid. Our agency offers basic life support (BLS), advanced life support (ALS), and rapid-sequence intubation (RSI) services as requested and available. Additionally, we standby for significant events such as fairs, sporting events, and community activities. We provide CPR training, free blood pressure screens, and educational opportunities to our community as well.

Our base is located at 4213 South Livonia Road, Livonia, NY 14487. Calls received through the Livingston County 911 center activate pagers and mobile applications, alerting our crews of an ambulance request. Depending on the dispatch information, responding equipment may include an ambulance, ALS fly car, operations vehicle, or a firefighter-support unit. Livonia EMS responded to over 1,200 requests for assistance in 2019. We operate closely with fire departments from Livonia, Lakeville, Hemlock, and Conesus.
